# How to invite team members to collaborate on forms in Makeform

Invite people to share access to your forms from **Members** in the dashboard sidebar. Team collaboration requires the team owner to have Pro or Business; invited members can use free Makeform accounts.

**Is it free?** No. The team owner needs Pro or Business, with no seat limit or per-seat price.

## Steps

1. Click **Members** in the dashboard sidebar.
2. Click **Invite Member**. For your first invitation, click **Invite Your First Team Member**; this creates a team workspace and shares your existing forms with the team.
3. In **Invite Team Member**, enter the person's **Email Address** and choose a **Role**. Pro supports **Editor**; Business also supports **Admin** and **Viewer**.
4. Click **Send Invitation**.
5. Have the person accept the invitation. They need a Makeform account, but a free account is enough.

## Choose a role

An **Editor** can edit forms but cannot manage the team. An **Admin** can manage team members and settings. A **Viewer** can view forms and submissions.

Admin and Viewer roles require Business. The plan that determines your team's access is the team owner's plan, so an invited member does not need their own paid subscription to join.

## Manage your team

The team area has **Members**, **Invites**, **Workspaces**, and **Settings** tabs. To change a member's role or remove them, open **Manage Member** and choose **Make Admin**, **Make Editor**, **Make Viewer**, or **Remove from team**. The Admin and Viewer choices require Business. Pending invitations can be sent again with **Resend**.

Custom workspaces inside a team are available on Pro. Business adds **Add managed account** for username/password accounts created by the team, editable **Roles & Permissions**, and visibility control to hide or mask sensitive fields from some members.
